Bruce did it he qualified to run in the Boston Marathon!!! I would like to share a story about Bruce's run.....When I was pregnant with Jeff, I was anxiously waiting to feel that first "kick". Bruce and I went to see the movie Rocky (it was 1977) during the movie I felt Jeff kick for the first time. I was so excited , I remember Bruce whispering for me to be quiet. I didn't care I had felt my baby move for the first time, Moms understand the thrill and comfort that is. So the theme from Rocky has always had special meaning to us reminding us of Jeff. During the St. George Marathon Bruce was running the last few miles of the race, which are very difficult. He turned a corner and there was a High School Band playing Rocky, he felt Jeff with him pushing him on. It was quite inspirational.
Thanks Jeff for keeping watch over us. We are looking forward to that Grand Reunion in Heaven.

Jan, thank you for that beautiful story! That was a "tender mercy" for sure to hear that song at the end of Bruce's run. We are so excited for him and admire his drive to actually achieve one of his lifetime goals and run in the Boston Marathon! You are both awesome and Bruce you look great too!
